Leadership & Strategy
Manage and lead child health programs, such as newborn health, management of childhood illnesses and immunization. Lead clinical discussions and provide medical imput on complex child health information and guidance.

Provide clinical and scientific guidance on child/pediatric health issues such as oxygen use for Neonates and Pediatric populations, medication dosing for major childhood diseases, Treatment guidelines for inpatient and outpatient pediatric care. Clinical guidelines for acute and chronically sick pediatric populations.

Assist country of need government in the development of national child health policies and coordinate the multitude of response in the child health field to ensure a harmonized response.

Support headquarters and country office program staff who help develop needs assessments, program proposals, and develop resources for direct health services.

Review proposals, including providing input on budgets required for health project delivery.

Build partnerships with donor relationships that attract funding and other resources to the health needs of the community.

Build partnerships with academic institutions and other organizations with experience in direct health services and health systems.
​

Provide leadership that pertains to clinical protocols.

Ensure technical reviews in project design, start-up, and implementation.
